PTA Latest News - Spring 2021

March PTA Newsletter 2021 

As you know Penwortham is now a school street school. We are putting a call out for volunteers to help us erect, monitor and dismantle the barriers during the operational hours: Morning 8.30-9.30am and Afternoon 2.30-3.45pm. The barriers are light, but will need two people to open/close the road to exempted residents, school staff and emergency services. If you have an hour to spare please contact the school office and we’ll get back to you.

Cake Sales

Cake Sales are simple but brilliantly reliable fundraisers – they raised well over 10% of last year’s total. Even though one year group at a time leads on each cake sale, anyone can bake or bring shop bought cakes (no nuts please) for each sale – we always sell out of cakes and could sell even more if we had them. Just bring them to the school office on the morning of the sale or bring direct to the cake table at pick up time. Please put your name on any containers you would like returned.
